Antique 1919 Nidor silver pocket watch & chain.

The watch has a nice quality Swiss stem-winding movement which is working well. The nicely jewelled movement is stamped Nidor, Swiss made.

The watch measures 50.5mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are hallmarks inside both of the case backs for London (import mark) 1919 with the importers mark for George Stockwell. The case has light surface marking from use and a mild uneveness / wear to the back but overall it is in nice condition for a 1919 piece. The inner dust cover has a couple of small dents.

The watch lens is plastic and is in nice condition with only minor marking from use.

The white enamel dial is in nice condition.

The watch has its original blued steel hands.

The watch comes on a silver double albert chain which has Birmingham hallmarks for 1890 with the makers mark J.R.

Each side of the chain measures 22.5 cm including the T bar and clasp and it is in nice condition.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
