Description

A gents 1950s Lever wrist watch with teardrop lugs.

The watch has a Swiss 15-jewel hand-winding movement which is working nicely. We believe the movement to be by Timor, they registered the Lever name in 1932.

The watch measures 33.5mm diameter excluding the handsomely shaped lugs. The case is gold plated and has a stainless steel snap-on case back. There is a little rubbing to the plate but you have to look closely to see it.

The lens is in good condition.

The signed dial is in its original finish and there is fairly pale freckling. The hands are original, subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.

A later leather strap has been fitted.
