A 1930s 10ct Gold Filled Limit No 2 Pocket Watch.

Description

A 1930s 10ct gold filled Limit No 2 pocket watch.

The watch has a Swiss signed stem-winding movement, made by Thommen for Limit… it is working nicely.

The watch measures 50.3mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is 10 ct gold filled and was made in England by the Dennison Watch Case Company… the movements were often imported into the UK to be cased in readiness for onward retail. The case has light surface marks from use and small "ding" to the back but overall it is in nice condition.

The watch glass has a small nibble to the inner edge under the lens but overall it is in nice condition.

The signed white enamel dial is in very nice condition.

The watch has its original gold hands, and a blued steel sub seconds hand.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.

Price includes worldwide postage.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
