The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1930s.
The watch has a stem-winding movement, grade 290, which is working nicely. The movement is signed and the serial number 32,235,459 dates it back to 1930. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.
The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the stem, crown and loop.
The winding crown pushes in to release the front cover.

Inside there is an acrylic lens... the original glass lenses were often replaced with acrylic if they broke as it was so much more durable.
The signed dial has a little marking and a couple of very faint hairline cracks but they are barely visible to the naked eye. Blued steel hands (lever set), a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
