Antique Stem Winding Waltham Pocket Watch 1917.

Description

Antique stem winding Waltham pocket watch 1917.

The watch has a 17 jewel stem-winding movement, grade 625, which is working well. The movement is signed and it has the serial number 21782783 which dates it back to 1917. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 50.5mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is 10ct gold filled and is the Moon model made by the Dennison Watch Case Company. The case has light surface marks from use but overall is in nice condition for a 1917 piece.

The acrylic lens is in nice condition.

The white enamel dial is signed Waltham, U.S.A. The dial has a faint hairline crack between the sub second dial and the bottom although hardly noticeable, but overall it is in nice condition.

The watch has its original blued steel hands.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.

Price includes worldwide postage.
