Late 19th Century French gilt metal and onyx cased three piece clock garniture, the clock by Japy Freres, No. 5940, the 4.25ins silvered chapter ring with Arabic numerals to the eight day two train movement striking on a gong, contained in onyx and gilt metal mounted case of architectural design flanked by standing classical figures having pair of matching two-handled urn shaped ornaments, on square stepped bases
