A 1940s Smiths pocket watch, made in England.

The watch has a signed 15-jewel stem-winding movement, A691, which is working nicely.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is also English made, gold plated and originally “warranted to wear 10 years”. The case is in good condition, as is the acrylic lens with just light surface marks.

The signed dial is in its original painted finish. It has some fairly light discolouration between 7 and 9, and some age related crazing.

The watch comes with a single chain, 27cm long including the T-bar and the clasp.

The watch and chain will be sent in a new presentation box.
