A 1940s Gents 9 Carat Gold Art Deco Wrist Watch.

Description

A 1940s gents 9 carat gold Art Deco wrist watch.

The watch has a Swiss hand-winding movement, with 15 jewels, which is working well.

The watch measures 21.7mm wide excluding the winding crown and 39.7mm high including the lugs. The case is 9 carat gold and there are hallmarks inside the hinged case back for London 1947. The case has mild bruising to the back and a small "ding" to the bottom left hand lug but overall it is in nice condition for a 1940s piece.

The lens is in nice condition with only minor marking from use.

The dial has light surface marking although it is in nice condition for a 1940s piece.

The watch has its original blued steel hands.

A new black leather strap has been fitted.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.

Price includes worldwide postage.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
