Description

For sale a magnificent example of the Smiths Benson Tropical, Sir Edmund Hillary Everest watch, circa 1954. The complete watch is in very fine original condition. Fully signed throughout. The case retains approx. 95% original plate. The sliver dial is just showing slight ageing and oil staining around the centre and sub seconds pivot holes.The dial and hand set retain all the original luminous paint. Full working order keeping excellent time. Dennison Aquatite waterproof case. They don't get much better than this example.
