Description

An antique Illinois Watch Co pocket watch.

The watch has a stem-winding movement, grade 184, which is working nicely. The movement has the serial number 2,172,665 which dates it back to 1909, and it is protected by an inner hinged cover which has some scratches.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold filled and was made by the Keystone Watch Case Company. The back of the case has monogrammed initials.

The acrylic lens is in good condition.

The double sunk enamel dial is in good condition with just a short hairline crack running through number 1. The watch has blued steel hands which are initially lever set. This means that the hinged bezel is opened, a small lever is pulled out and the hands adjusted accordingly.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
