Its About Time has dated this piece to the Regency era.

The dial has the preferred 'Breguet' style hands with Roman numerals and makers name. Kenneth Maclennan was a fine maker and was commissioned to make a Planetarium for the Royal Institute in 1801. His career started in 1778 in St' Martins Lane (The May's Building) and retired in 1825. The clock is currently being restored and will be ready soon.
