Description

An impressive quality and substantial English Mahogany bracket clock made towards the end of the 19th Century. It has a dome top and the case is inlaid with fine boxwood stringing and figured panels. It has a convex glass and an engraved and silvered dial, which is signed by the original retailers Jays of Oxford Street London. The substantial 8 day twin chain driven movement strikes the hours on a bell and was made by the renowned makers Gillet and Johnston and is numbered 15423.

Current Condition
