The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1870s.
The watch has a fusee (chain driven) movement which is working nicely.
The movement is protected by a fitted inner cover.

The watch itself measures 53mm diameter excluding the stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are hallmarks inside the case backs for London 1874 with a maker's mark for the Coventry case maker John Harris. The case is in good condition with just a few little marks, nothing too serious at all.

The glass has minor marks across it but not too detrimental at all.
The silver dial with gold highlights is beautifully detailed and is in good condition with handsome ornate hands.
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
