Nineteenth Century Painted Portuguese Clock Case with Associated Part Movement

Description

A solid oak case which has a charming painted finish with good colour. The case which has signs of old woodworm (long since dead and treated anyway) has a removable hood and access doors to either side. The movement which is inside presently has been married to the case and is in a poor state. As Eric Morecombe once said everything is there but not necessarily in the right order
