The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1910s.
The watch is open faced and it has a stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is fully signed and the serial number of 18748871 dates it back to 1912. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.
The watch itself measures 50.3mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The 10ct gold filled case is the Moon model made by the Dennison Watch Case Company. The case is in good condition for a piece that is 100 years old with just minor marking.
The acrylic lens is in nice condition.
The signed white enamel dial is in nice condition. Blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
