The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1920s.
The watch has a stem-winding movement , grade 291, which is working nicely. The movement is signed with the Elgin name and the serial number 29,927,973 dates it back to 1927.
The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case has a good quality gold plated case originally guaranteed to wear for 20 years. It has a screw-on bezel and back, another good sign of quality.

The acrylic ens is in lovely condition.
The signed dial is in very nice condition and the shaped blued steel hands are an unusual and very handsome design, as is the small hand on the subsidiary seconds dial.
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
