The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1910s.
The watch has a Swiss stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

This is known as a galonne case and watches of this design were very popular in the Scandinavian countries at the beginning of the 20th Century. It is in good condition with just the odd minor mark.

The dial is signed with the name of the original retailer, C M Storckenfeldt, Göteborg. Handsome stylised numbers, a subtle two tone finish to the dial, a subsidiary seconds dial, handsomely shaped hands and an outer minute track. There is some freckling to the centre of the dial.
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
