Masons Antiques has dated this piece to the 1890s.
The case is beautifully polished with a lovely solid mahogany surround to the dial and intricate carving to the two lower glazed panels.
The 12" white painted dial has black Roman numerals and beautifully cut hands. It has a brass bezel.
The 8 day, bell striking movement has just been fully overhauled by our BHI registered staff.
The brass pendulum can be seen working through the lower opening glazed door.
