Description

A 1917 Equity pocket watch by Waltham.

The watch has a stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is signed with both the Equity Watch Co name and also Waltham Watch Company. Equity was one of the names registered and used by Waltham. The serial number 21618915 which dates it back to 1917. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover upon which are some surface scratches.

The watch itself measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is 14ct gold plated and was made by the Dennison Watch Case Company… Aaron Dennison had close associations with Waltham. This was their top of the range gold plated model and it is lovely condition.

The acrylic lens is in good condition.

The signed dial is in lovely condition with blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
