Description

A good sized gents Nimer wrist watch, c1940s.

The watch has a signed hand-winding movement which is working nicely.

The watch is a very good size at 37.5mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case has a stainless steel bezel and case back, with a plated centre section… there is quite a lot of wear and marking to this plated centre section but it is not too detrimental at all to the naked eye.

The lens is in good condition.

The dial is signed Nimer… this was a brand name registered by Mulco SA of La Chaux de Fonds, Switzerland in 1937. A company called Mulco still produces watches today but this is a different entity. Blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute markers.

A new leather strap has been fitted.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
