A 1920s Craven Full Hunter Pocket Watch.

Description

A 1920s Craven full hunter pocket watch.

The watch has a stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The nicely jewelled movement is signed Craven, Swiss made and it is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 50.6mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold plated and is the Star Model made by the Dennison Watch Case Company. The case has light surface marking from use and mild bruising to the front and back covers.

The winding crown pushes in open the front cover. Inside there is a acrylic lens… originally the watch would have had a glass lens but these were often replaced with acrylic as it was a much more durable material.

The dial has a couple of faint hairline cracks but otherwise it is in nice condition.

The watch has its original blued steel hands

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.

Price includes worldwide postage.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
