The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1950s.
Cauny was founded in La Chaux de Fonds in 1928 by a Spanish watch wholesaler who had the intention of manufacturing watches to be sold in Spain, in fact Cauny was very popular in both Spain and Portugal, hence the name Calendario.
The movement is signed Cauny Prima.

The watch itself measures 33.5mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is gold plated with a stainless steel case back. There is a little rubbing to the plate, and some minor marks, but overall very acceptable for a 1950s piece.

The lens is in good condition.
The signed dial is in its original finish and it is in good condition with just a little marking and perhaps some slight darkening. The hands appear to be the originals although the hour hand is a little darker.
A new leather strap has been fitted.
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
