Description

A gents 1930s (possibly early 1940s) Veglia Borletti wrist watch.

The watch has a good quality Swiss 15-jewel hand-winding movement which is working nicely.

The watch is a good size at 35.5mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is plated and has a stainless steel case back. The case is in good condition for such an early piece with just minor surface marking.

The lens is in good condition.

The signed dial is in its original finish and it is in good condition with just a little marking.

A new leather strap has been fitted.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.

Veglia was bought by Borletti in 1930 and Veglia Borletti became famous for their precision instruments which were fitted in racing cars, bikes and racing boats.
