Description

A 1921 silver open faced pocket watch and chain.

The watch has a good quality Swiss stem-winding movement, with jewelled pallets and Geneva stripes, which is working nicely. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch itself measures 51mm diameter excluding the winding stem and loop. The case is silver and there are hallmarks inside the case backs for Birmingham 1921 with a case maker’s mark for Aaron Dennison… the Dennison Watch Case Company was a prolific manufacturer of cases for various watch manufacturers. The case is in lovely condition and the engine turned detail to the back is still nice and crisp.

The watch glass is in good condition.

The dial is in very nice condition and has blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.

The watch comes with a 1918 silver double albert with each chain measuring 21.5cm long including the T-bar and the clasp. 32.8g.

The watch and chain will be sent in a new presentation box.
