Antique 1911 silver half hunter pocket watch.

The watch has a good quality Swiss stem-winding three quarter plate movement, which is working well. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 50.7mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are import hallmarks inside the case back for London 1911 together with the importers mark for Louis Weill. The silver case has rose gold embelishments. The case is in nice condition with only minor marking from use

The Arabic numerals surrounding the small lens to the front are picked out in dark blue.

The winding stem pushes in to easily open the front cover. Inside there is an acrylic lens which has minor marking from use, The outer acrylic lens is in nice condition.

The enamel dial, is in nice condition. Note the special hands designed for half hunter watches so that the time can be read even when the front cover is closed… if they were standard pocket watch hands, it would be difficult to decipher between hour and minute hands.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
