The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1910s.
The watch has a stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is signed with the name ‘The Consul’ and it is all protected by an inner hinged cover.
The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop.
There are some nicely engraved initials to the front.

The winding crown pushes in open the front cover. Inside there is an acrylic lens… originally the watch would have had a glass lens but these were often replaced with acrylic as it was a much more durable material.

The dial is in lovely condition and has an initial, either H or M. Blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
