Description

A gents 1950s Audax Eden Roc wrist watch.

The watch has a very nice quality signed 21-jewel automatic movement, ETA 2452 which is working nicely. This calibre was also used as the base for the Tudor 2484.

The watch itself measures 34.5mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is gold plated with a stainless steel case back. There is a little wear that shows if you look very closely but overall it is in a very acceptable condition.

The lens is in good condition.

The signed dial has fantastic 1950s charm. Original finish with cross hair detail, and a shaped raised section running through the number markers, and partially revealed minute markers. There is also a date at 6 o’clock… this is an early form of quickset date where the hands are moved backwards and forwards repeatedly between 12 midnight and 8.30pm until the desired date is reached.

A new leather strap has been fitted.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
