The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1930s.
The watch itself measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The English case is gold plated with enamel filled numerals to the front. The case has a slight indentation to the back but otherwise is in good condition. It was usual for Swiss movements to be imported into the UK for them to be cased and prepared for onward retail.

The winding crown pushes in to open the front cover.
Inside there is an acrylic lens which is in good condition. Quite often the original glass lenses were replaced with acrylic if they broke as it is a much more durable material.

The white enamel dial has black Roman numerals, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track. There is a short faint hairline between 10 and 11.
The watch comes with a single albert which measures 33cm long.
The watch and chain will be sent in a new presentation box.
