The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1930s.
The watch has a good quality signed 15-jewel stem-winding movement which is working nicely.
The watch itself measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are hallmarks inside the two case backs for Birmingham 1937, with a case maker’s mark for Aaron Dennison of the Dennison Watch Case Company, supplier of cases to many watch assembly houses. The front of the case is in good condition while the back has some fairly gentle unevenness.
The watch lens is in good condition.
The signed dial is in lovely condition with blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.
The watch comes with a silver double albert, with each chain measuring 23cm long including the T-bar and the clasp.
