Description

A gents 9 carat gold Majex wrist watch.

The watch has a Swiss 17-jewel hand-winding movement which is working nicely.

The watch measures 33.5mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is 9 carat gold and there are hallmarks inside the case back for Edinburgh 1957 with a maker’s mark for the British Watch Case Company. The case is in good condition, just the odd minor mark but nothing too detrimental at all. The back of the watch has a 1959 engraving from Preston Licensed Victuallers Association.

The lens is in good condition.

The signed dial has darkened with age but still easy to read the time. Original dauphine shaped hands, centre seconds and outer minute markers.

A new leather strap has been fitted.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
