Description

A gents late 1950s Smiths Imperial wrist watch, made in England.

The watch has a 19-jewel calibre 0104 hand-winding movement, first introduced in 1958, which is working nicely. By 1960 the calibre numbers no longer appeared on the movements so we can date this one fairly precisely.

The watch itself measures 35mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is gold plated with a stainless steel case back. It is in good condition, just three or four surface scratches to the back.

The lens is in good condition.

The signed dial has some fairly light freckling (which is emphasised in the photos).

A new leather strap has been fitted.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
