Fine Scottish Mahogany 8 Day Longcase Clock

Description

Fine early 19th century, east coast Scottish, mahogany cased 8 day longcase clock by JAMES BREAKENRIDGE of EDINBURGH. Very nice original condition throughout. Typical early east coast Scottish slim, elegant case with long door. The case cross banded throughout and with the original feet. The clock has 12" diameter plain white dial. The hood with front opening door and carved decoration to the top.

The case is a lovely colour with original patination.

The clock has been recently fully serviced and as such is in full working order.

SIZE; 18" wide. 9" deep. 83" high overall

CIRCA; James Breakenridge was working 1802 - 1806 only.
