The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1930s.
The watch has a hand-winding movement, calibre 10.26, which is working nicely. The movement is signed Longines and the serial number 5176724 dates it back to 1932.
The watch itself measures 25.5mm wide excluding the winding crown and 31mm high excluding the lugs.
The inside of the hinged case back has the same serial number as the movement so we can be sure that the case and movement are original to each other.

The lens has a little marking but is very acceptable.
The signed dial is in its original finish and the stylish numbers give the watch charming character. There is a little darkening to the dial but still easy to read the time. Breguet style hands in a blued steel, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute track.
A new leather strap has been fitted.
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
