Description

A very pretty small bell striking four glass clock dating to around 1870. The brass case has engraved front and sides, a glass front door and a frosted rear door. The sides and dial are porcelain panels with 18th century style hand decoration and 'jewelled studding'set on the gilt bands. It has an 8 day movement made by Japy Frere and strikes the hours and halves on a gong.

Current Condition

The case has been polished and lacquers, the side panels are perfect, the dial has had some professional restoration. The movement has been fully serviced and is guaranteed for 12 months.If you would like a video clip of this clock striking please email us.
