Description

An antique silver fusee pocket watch made for Fred Nutt of Bradford.

The watch has a fusee (chain driven) movement which is working nicely. The movement is signed,’Made expressly for Fred Nutt, Bradford’, and it is all protected by an inner fitted cover.

The watch itself measures 52mm diameter excluding the stem and the loop. The case is silver and is hallmarked for Chester, 1891 and there is a casemaker’s mark for Isaac Jabez andTheo Newsome. The case is in good condition with just a slight indentation to the back.

The watch glass is in good condition.

The double sunk dial is in good condition, perhaps just a little darkening. The minute hand is a later replacement.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
