Description

Early 20th Century open faced pocket watch.

The watch has a good quality Swiss stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch itself measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold filled. It has light surface marks and a little unevenness to the back.

The watch glass is in good condition.

The white enamel dial is signed Saqui & Lawrence, London, the original retailers of the watch. In 1908, H Samuel acquired Saqui & Lawrence to gain a presence in London, and they continued to use the Saqui & Lawrence name. The dial is in lovely condition with blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
