The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1910s.
The watch has a 15-jewel stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is signed with the name Criterion, and it is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch itself measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold plated and is the Moon model by the Dennison Watch Case Company. The Moon model was one of the better quality cases offered by Dennison, with

10ct gold plate, and originally guaranteed to wear 20 years. Dennison supplied cases to many watch assembly factories.

The winding crown pushes in to open the front cover. Inside there is an acrylic lens. It is very common for the original glass lenses to be replaced and we see this often… it is difficult to tell the difference as they look so similar but they are a lot more durable.
The white enamel dial is in good condition and has blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
