Description

A gents 1930s Tissot wrist watch.

The watch has a hand-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is signed with the Tissot name, and the serial number 861570 dates it back to between 1937 and 1939. The movement is protected by an inner cover.

The watch itself measures 32mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is stainless steel and it is in good condition for such an early piece, just the odd mark, nothing serious. The inside of the case back is signed with the Tissot logo.

The lens is in good condition.

The signed dial is in its original finish with blued steel feuille shaped hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute track. There is marking and discolouration to the dial.

A new leather strap has been fitted.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
