The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1880s.
The movement also has the Longines winged hour glass logo which was registered in 1889. Baume & Co were based in Hatton Garden, London and were the UK agents for Longines. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover (there is some scratching on this inner cover).

The watch itself measures 49mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is nickel. There are a couple of scratches to the bezel and some unevenness to the back. The inside of the hinged case back has the Longines logo together with the case reference 311277 which dates it back to 1883.

The main face of the glass lens is in good condition. There are a few nibbles to the bevelled edge.
The blank dial is in good condition… we would not expect it to be signed Longines or Baume as this space was often left blank for the retailer to add their details. Pin set hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
