An 8 day tavern clock made by GEO. HOLDEN of SHEFFIELD.

The clock strikes the hours on a bell and it has just been fully overhauled by our BHI registered staff.
An 18" white painted dial with black Roman numerals and beautifully crafted hands.
A cast brass bezel with convex glass.

To the trunk of the clock is a mercury thermometer, a butlers mirror and a mercury barometer, all in perfect working order.
The 10" diameter, silvered barometer has a cast brass bezel and ivory setting knob. It has been fully overhauled and re-calibrated.

The flame mahogany case retains it's original French-polished finish and has a lovely warm, rich patina. There is inlaid brass stringing with a rosewood insert around the thermometer, mirror and barometer. It is fitted with side opening doors to both the top and bottom of the case.
