1906 Waltham Seaside Ladies Full Hunter Fob Watch

A 1906 Waltham Seaside ladies full hunter fob watch with chain.

The watch has a stem-winding movement, Seaside grade, which is working nicely. The movement is fully signed and the serial number 15,293,789 which dates it back to 1906. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover, there is some marking and an indentation to this inner cover.

The watch itself measures 36mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is 14k gold filled and is the Puritan model from Bates & Bacon. The outside of the case is in lovely condition with the engine turned detail still nice and crisp. There is a cartouche to the front with the engraving EW to JC. There is some marking inside the case.

The winding crown pushes in to open the front cover. Inside there is a glass lens which is in good condition. The white enamel dial has one short faint hairline at the top, barely noticeable to the naked eye, but otherwise is in beautiful condition.

The watch comes with a single chain, in perfect proportion for the watch at 22cm long.

The watch and chain will be sent in a vintage presentation box, a little tatty on the outside and the velvet inside has faded, but still nice to have with the watch.
