A 1920s Minerva Full Hunter Pocket Watch.

Description

A 1920s Minerva full hunter pocket watch.

The watch has a high grade Swiss stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is stamped Minerva, 17 jewels 4 adjustments Swiss made. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 50.6mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold plated and is the Star model made by the English based watch case company Dennisons. The case has light surface marks from use and the odd small "ding" to the front and back covers although quite acceptable for a piece of its age.

The winding crown pushes down to open the front cover. It reveals a white enamel dial with a plastic lens which is in nice condition.

The white enamel dial is in nice condition.

The watch has blued steel hands.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.

Price includes worldwide postage.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
