A 1920s Swiss half hunter pocket watch.

The watch has a high grade Swiss stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is stamped 15 jewels, Swiss made. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 50.7mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold plated and was the Star model made by the English based watch case company Dennisons. The case has light surface marks from use and a small "ding" to the back cover, but overall it is in nice condition for its age.

The front cover has Roman numerals around the original small glass lens. (The lens has a small nibble to the outer edge at 5 o'clock although hardly noticeable). The numerals are filled with blue enamel - some of the enamel has fallen out over the years although hardly noticeable. The winding crown pushes down to open the front cover. It reveals a white enamel dial with a glass lens which is in good condition. The dial has a faint hairline crack to the outer edge between 9 & 10 o'clock but otherwise it is in nice condition. Blued steel hands designed so that the time can be read when the front cover is closed … with conventional hands, it would be impossible to tell which hand was which through the small lens.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
