A 1920s Minerva Stem Winding Pocket.

Description

A 1920s Minerva stem winding pocket.

The watch has a high grade Swiss stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is stamped 15 jewels 4 adjustments Swiss made. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 50.6mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is 10ct gold filled and is the Moon model made by the English based watch case company Dennisons. The case has light surface marks from use and the odd mild bruise to the back although quite acceptable for a piece of its age.

The watch lens is glass and has a small nibble to the bottom edge but otherwise it is in nice condition.

The white enamel dial is in nice condition.

The watch has blued steel hands.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.

Price includes worldwide postage.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
