Description

A mid-size Pioneer Art Deco wrist watch.

The watch has a good quality signed hand-winding movement, 15 jewels, three adjustments, which is working nicely.

The watch itself measures 22mm wide excluding the winding crown and 33mm high excluding the lugs. The case is rolled yellow gold with white metal highlights, possibly white rolled gold or chrome plated. It is nicely detailed, particularly down the sides of the case. Overall the case is in good condition for such an early piece, just some rubbing to the angled edges on the back of the watch.

The watch has a concave glass lens which is in good condition.

The dial is in its original finish and it has a textured sunburst pattern, typical of the Art Deco era. Nicely shaped hour and minute hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and a minute track.

The watch has a vintage brown leather strap, although not original to the watch.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
