Description

A gents 1914 silver Electa trench watch.

The watch has a Swiss hand-winding movement, 17 jewels, adjusted, with whiplash regulator, which is working nicely.

The watch itself measures 35mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the fixed wire lugs so a good size. The case is silver and there are hallmarks inside the screw-on case back for Birmingham 1914, with a case maker’s mark for the English company, the Dennison Watch Case Company. The case has a ‘pin prick’ indentation to the back but overall is in fine condition for such an early piece.

The watch glass is in good condition.

The black dial is in good condition. The original paint infill has been removed from the numbers and hands, leaving just a trace at the top of the number 1 of the 12.

A new leather strap has been fitted.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
