Figured Walnut Bell Striking Mantel Clock (England, C. 1870)

Description

A very high quality Victorian walnut mantel clock, supplied by Clock Maker to Queen Victoria. The rectangular case has a step breakfront molded top and a matching base. It has a thick bevel edge glass in a brass bezel and a white enamel dial signed by Frodsham, Clock Maker to The Queen. The case has a rear opening door, that is finished inside the case as well. The 8 day French made movement is numbered 22144 and has its original matching numbered pendulum. For a full history on Charles Frodsham please see http://www.frodsham.com/history/

Current Condition

In beautiful excellent original condition. The movement has been fully serviced and is guaranteed for 12 months. If you would like a video clip of this clock striking please email us.
