A Gents 1920s Silver Wrist Watch.

Description

A gents 1920s silver wrist watch.

The watch has a 15-jewel hand-winding movement which is working nicely.

The watch itself measures 26.7mm wide excluding the winding crown and 31.2mm high excluding the lugs. The case is silver and there are hallmarks on the hinged case back for Edinburgh (import mark) although the date letter is illegible, . There are some surface marks and small dents to the case but overall the condition is good for such an early wrist watch.

The lens is in nice condition.

The Art Deco dial has darkened a little with age but still very easy to read the time.

The watch has its original blued steel hands

A new brown strap has been fitted.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.

Price includes worldwide postage.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
