Description

A gents 1930s silver Art Deco wrist watch.

The watch has a good quality Swiss 15-jewel movement, three adjustments, which is working nicely. The movement is signed Sleda Watch Company. Sleda was registered in 1925 and were listed as case makers, movement manufacturers and watch makers.

The watch itself measures 26mm wide excluding the winding crown and 32.5mm high excluding the lugs. The case is silver and there are Swiss hallmarks on the back of the case and a London import mark on the side. The case has a fantastic appearance and it is in good condition, just some unevenness to the back.

The lens is in good condition.

The dial is in its original finish and is in good condition for its age, just a little darkening around the edges.

A new leather strap has been fitted.

The watch has a vintage presentation box from an Aberystwyth jeweller.
