Early 1920s Omega Pocket Watch with Chain

Description

Early 1920s Omega pocket watch with chain.

The watch has a 40.6L.T2.15P stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is signed Omega and the serial number dates it back to the early part of the 1920s. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover which has a few short scratches where it has been opened in the past with a tool.

The watch itself measures 48mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is nickel and it is in good condition, just one small “ding” to the back, nothing serious at all. The inside of the case back has the early Omega logo.

The watch glass has a 1mm scratch but overall is in good condition.

The signed dial is in lovely condition, handsome Moon hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track with red Arabic numbers.

The watch comes with a single albert which measures 30cm long including the T-bar and the clasp.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
